For over 30 years Sydneysiders and visitors alike have enjoyed The Candle Factory's beautiful range of quality candles. Owner and manager Zoe Gray's passion for quality is such that The Candle Factory stocks only candles that Zoe burns at home. 

At The Candle Factory, quality is everything. We pride ourselves on selecting locally made and Australian made candles of the highest quality. All our scented candles have long burn times and we only use the best waxes and oils. Step inside. Feel, touch, smell and experience our candles. There are thousands to choose from. Our store is home to Sydney’s largest range of Ecoya, Circa Home and Glasshouse candles. Explore over 18 leading brands including Woodwick, Beez Neez, Elume, Lilyflame and Papaya. 

The Candle Factory is also the home of candle making. We handcraft and sell many unique candles on site - and we’ve been proudly making them since the 1970s. We were originally located in Hornsby before moving to the Argyle Stores in The Rocks. Today, in our current home in the Metcalfe Arcade, we’re nestled among jewelry makers, wine merchants and craft stores. 

There’s something for everyone at The Candle Factory. Children and visitors to The Rocks particularly love our vibrant collection of novelty, animal and Australiana candles. Corporate gift seekers are well catered for, too. We happily tailor candle packages for corporate events and for establishments big or small. 

The Candle Factory is located in the heritage-listed Metcalfe Arcade, a building that housed Sydney Harbour shipments in the early 1900s. Conveniently situated at 80-84 George Street in The Rocks, our store is a short stroll from Circular Quay. Enter via George Street or from 4 Hickson Road (home to Pancakes At The Rocks).
